Experience the adventure of creating hope in the midst of despair!
We are eager to host short-term mission groups and individuals… families, youth groups, community groups and so on. We are looking for dedicated people who are interested in making an impact and volunteering their time at Miqueas 6.8. Whether it is spending time with the kids, teaching English or working on agriculture projects. We believe every person has a unique set of skills and abilities and we can utilize those skills on our many different projects. Besides visiting with the amazing children living at Hogar Miqueas, there are a number of projects that we could use your help to complete them.
Join us for one of these unforgettable short term mission trips to the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and learn how you or your church group can become the hands of Christ in ministering to children and families in need. If you are interested in visiting us, please follow the following steps.
Contact us! Let us know the approximate time frame you are considering for your visit, the size of your group and the types of work you prefer to complete.

Additionally, Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccine are recommended for healthcare teams. Please visit the CDC website for recommendations for traveling to Honduras.

Hydration: It is very important to stay hydrated in the tropics. Every team member should bring along a water bottle. We will provide purchased purified water during your stay at Hogar Miqueas.
